Trust Manager
Location: London Type: Permanent Salary: £Negotiable

Leading London law practice are looking for an experienced trust manager to take up a pivotal role in the development of their Private Clients practice.

The role will require you to: Analyse, prepare and administer accounts and tax returns, Administration of trusts, including dealing with trust correspondence; Preparation of and attending trustees’ meetings; Preparation of trust accounts; Preparation of tax returns for trusts; Posting entries into CCH Trust Accounts; Preparing tax returns and repayment claims for individuals on account of trust and other income; Settling personal invoices for private clients; Settling invoices from client account as necessary; Assistance with audit etc as necessary; dealing with letting agents and tenants (if necessary) regarding Charity property; Attendance of grant meetings, writing minutes; Supervising outside accountants’ conduct of clients’ trust and income tax matters with a view to eventually bringing these back in house; Liaising with clients and day to day monitoring of files; Maintaining the highest professional standards in processing client work; Meeting client expectations; Marketing the firm’s client services in conjunction with other fee earners; Developing a range of personal, professional and business contacts; Maintaining up-to-date details for trustee clients and other persons related to the trust and ensuring that their information held on the firm’s database is accurate and up-to-date. Adhering to agreed practice procedures and quality standards; Ensuring confidentiality and security of all firm and client documentation and information; Complying with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules, ensuring that funds are transferred between accounts within required timetables.

A solid track record and membership of STEP essential.
