Well established 60 strong London law firm are looking for a Practice Manager to take over the running of the firm. The role will include all aspects of finance, HR, partnership support and administration. You will act as the SRA Compliance Officer and manage the financial budgeting and reporting; complete the VAT returns; month/year end accounts reconciliations; and generally oversee the running of the accounts department. The other main focus of the role will be HR. You will be responsible for managing all staff and inducting new staff; managing the secretaries and ensuring that work is evenly spread and recruitment of new staff to include agency liaison and advertising.
It is absolutely essential that you have experience in legal accounts and have managed another small – mid-size law firm. You must be an excellent communicator, both verbal and in writing, and have excellent client skills. In addition, it is essential that you have proven people management skills and a high level of accuracy and reliability.
