Facilities Officer
Location: London Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: £28,000

City based law firm are looking for a facilities assistant to work alongside the office manager undertaking a wide variety of administrative and facilities duties and assist with the smooth running of the office and managing the administration team. The duties will be varied but will include:

  • Supervising and managing the admin team
  • Supervising all printing, photocopying and scanning requests
  • Assisting with the implementation of new office systems
  • Supervising the archival and storage of files, deeds and original documents
  • Ensuring the office is safe, secure and complies with all health and safety requirements
  • Liaising with building management and security team as required
  • Managing the maintenance and repair of office equipment and dealing with acquisition of new equipment
  • Ensuring adequate stocks of stationary
  • Dealing with suppliers and managing costs and budgets
  • Coordinating all seminars and client related functions
  • Coordinating all staff social events

It is essential that you have at least two years’ experience within another legal facilities role, be confident when dealing with members of the firm at all levels, be enthusiastic and have exceptional communication skills. You must also be hardworking and reliable with good organisational skills. This role is ideal for an aspirational facilities assistant looking for progression or a facilities supervisor looking to move to a really friendly, positive firm with a reputation for really looking after their staff.
