Major American law firm are looking for an IT Manager to run and direct the IT function for their London office and manage their IT team. This is a hands on role, which will involve ensuring the smooth delivery of a number of key projects in London; making recommendations to IT Director and Partners on software/systems and configurations; managing relationships with suppliers etc.; managing the local implementation of firmwide IT projects, initiatives and related deployments; coordinating with the IT Network Operations and Telecommunication departments to monitor the performance of and perform routine maintenance on network infrastructure, servers, and telecommunication and audio/visual equipment; and serving as customer service advocate and technology consultant by providing support, feedback and recommendations to enhance processes and internal customer experiences.
You will also be expected to manage team performance and set goals and ensure the team’s continuous professional development. It is essential that you have excellent customer service and communication skills, the confidence to manage a large team and exceptional technical skills. You must also have experience as an IT manager in either another prestigious law firm or a leading professional services firm.
