Our client, a major national law firm, are looking for an IT Support Technician with some experience in another large organisation. You will be providing support and infrastructure across all offices to multiple users and you will be dealing with volume enquiries.
You will be providing 1st/2nd line application and systems support – both remotely and deskside and your role will be to identify, assess criticality and prioritise resolution of all new and existing issues; assist with IT training; take ownership of user problems from start to finish and be pro-active when dealing with user issues; and monitor, document and manage the resolution process.
Previous experience in a large, fast paced, professional services environment is essential as are excellent customer service skills. You must also have a minimum of 1 years’ experience providing first line support – some experience in second line support would be desirable.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows technologies is essential. Experience in using the core software of the firm such as Windows 7, Office 2010, Workshare Pro, Elite Lawsoft, Laserforms and iManage Worksite would be desirable.
