Expanding City firm are looking for an experienced Analyst to join an IT team of five. The role will be to assist the IT Department in providing support for the firms databases, and the day-to-day operation, management, maintenance, development and enhancement of both third-party and in-house developed business software applications. Duties to include:
- Management, support, and administration of the firms database systems
- Generating advanced management reports using MS Access/ SQL from the various in-house databases, including the financial management system (Elite Enterprise)
- Creating and managing bespoke applications using Visual Basic or MS Access to integrate and enhance the firm’s business systems
- Assisting with the installation, configuration, support, and upgrade of network server systems and applications (including Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server), and the network infrastructure
Previous experience of working within a law or other professional service firm would be ideal. Knowledge of accounting and billing systems (ideally Elite Enterprise or other legal accounts), as well as knowledge of using/integrating document management systems (preferably iManage) would be beneficial but not essential.
