Our client, a mid size commercial London law firm, are looking for a Marketing Manager to develop, drive and innovate all marketing strategy. This is a broad, generalist role and you will be heading up the marketing activity for the firm.
The position will be varied but will include:
Website – regular updating of website with content. Monitor engagement and maintain SEO
Newsletters – production and distribution of three client e-newsletters
Annual Review – production and distribution of the Annual Review publication
Social media – regular posting on the firm’s LinkedIn and Twitter accounts and individual partners’ accounts as required. Monitor engagement
Events – plan and deliver client event strategy in the UK and overseas, including hosted seminars, webinars, client dinners, in-house training, charity football event, workshops and presentations
– plan and deliver client team building events and client corporate entertainment
– plan and deliver the firm’s annual client party for 500 people
– co-ordinate the participation of partners at external seminars, round-table discussions and workshops in the UK and overseas.
Submissions and proposals – Produce the firm’s submissions for legal directories
– Produce proposals/tenders as required
Design and merchandise – Source and manage creative agencies and production suppliers
Strong influencing skills and tenacity are as essential as relevant experience in either a law firm or similar professional services environment. You must also be able to manage multiple projects while prioritising time critical assignments. A true generalist marketing role where there is ample scope and an essential requirement to make a difference. This position might be an ideal first management role for a marketing executive.
