The North London office of a large regional law firm are looking for a receptionist / trainee legal secretary / administrator who has at least six months’ experience in either an administrative role or as a receptionist to assist on their busy office. You will be expected to provide an efficient and effective reception service answering the telephone, meeting and greeting clients, partners and fee earners, updating various databases and assisting with hospitality duties such as setting up meeting rooms, arranging lunches and ordering in catering etc.
It is essential that you have strong interpersonal skills and are confident with communicating at all levels; excellent time management and organisational skills and a flexible, cheerful approach. As there will be some typing work, experience dealing with digital dictation / audio typing would also be helpful and a typing speed of 50wpm. This is an ideal role if you are a receptionist who is looking to move into a friendly corporate law firm and gain more experience. Experience on a legal case management system would be desirable but not essential.
