Job Title: HR Manager
Salary: £75,000+ Negotiable

Location: Central London with hybrid working (2 days from home)

Established, highly-successful leading London law firm are looking for an HR Manager to join their management team and develop the existing HR offering within the firm, supporting with all aspects of operational HR. The firm is undergoing a period of rapid expansion and they are looking to appoint an HR Manager to help run and expand the firm.

A selection of duties will include:

  • Managing and overseeing all recruitment (devising job specifications, instructing consultancies, interviewing, selection and making offers and all aspects of contract compliance and paperwork)
  • Onboarding new staff and organising inductions
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures / HR policy creation
  • Managing employee benefits
  • Learning and development
  • Mentoring and coaching
  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Leading the implementation of company safety and health programs to ensure full compliance
  • Managing the exit process for leavers
  • Coordinating the appraisal process and preparing salary and bonus information
  • Maintaining HR records
  • Practising certificate renewals

This is a new role and could be ideal for an HR advisor looking to take the next step into a management role and make a significant difference to a high profile and aspirational boutique law firm. It is essential that you have over three years’ experience in legal HR (or from another professional services environment) and ideally be CIPD qualified. The role requires an experienced HR professional with a pragmatic and commercial approach as well as a confident manner and track record dealing with senior management.
