Job Title: Residential Property / Conveyancing Paralegal

Location Central London

Salary: to £30,000 depending on experience

An established London law firm are looking for a residential property / conveyancing paralegal to join their leading property team and deliver a high-quality service and care to the firm’s established client base. You will be running your own caseload and dealing with both sales and purchases of properties as well as acting for both landlord and tenants in respect of residential lease extensions.  

Key duties and will include:

  • Assisting a small team of fee earners with their caseload with all aspects of the transaction from instruction through to post-completion
  • Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
  • File opening
  • Companies House Registrations
  • AML checks
  • File closing including matter balances
  • Post completion tasks
  • Sending out draft contract packs

It is essential that you have six months’ experience in residential property, a good academic background, exceptional client and communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude. This is an exciting role that would suit a paralegal with a few months’ experience in a local firm now looking to make the move to London. Fantastic training on offer and ideal for an ambitious, motivated candidate.
