Job Title: Commercial and Residential Property Paralegal

Salary: £Negotiable – depending on experience

Location: Central London / Home Working

Successful and established firm based in the City are looking for an experienced commercial property paralegal to assist their busy and highly respected real estate team due to an increase in the volume of work undertaken. You will be expected to liaise with both new and established clients and so you must have excellent communication skills. There will also be some residential work and so experience in residential work would be an advantage.

Duties will include:

·         Drafting Reports on Title

·         Drafting SDLT returns

·         Drafting Land Registry forms including AP1s and TR1s

·         Carrying out priority searches

·         Commissioning property searches

·         Due diligence

·         Conducting legal research

·         Dealing with post exchange and post completion formalities

·         Preparing and assisting with drafting documents

This is a very involved role and a rare opportunity to gain quality training and experience. It is essential that you have experience as a commercial property paralegal (at least six months) and a good knowledge of commercial property. You must also be confident with all aspects of the post completion process. You must be proactive, have good communication skills and be able to work capably on your own as well as in a team. Excellent opportunity to gain quality and varied experience in a leading firm renowned for its friendly, supportive and team orientated culture. Historically, this firm has offered training contracts to their paralegals and so a tc is a possibility depending on performance and business need.
