Job Title: Corporate and IP Paralegal – US Law Firm

Location: Central London

Salary: £45,000+ (negotiable) + Excellent Benefits

Award winning, leading American law firm are looking for a paralegal to work between their corporate and IP practices, assisting both teams with high-profile work to include M&A, venture capital, corporate finance and private equity. The successful paralegal will be joining a forward thinking, highly regarded US firm working on international deals including matters in emerging markets.

A small selection of responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with commercial contracts
  • Proof reading documents
  • Due diligence and verification
  • Dealing with the incorporation and structuring of new companies
  • Undertaking legal research
  • Assisting with business development
  • Reviewing and drafting a variety of legal documentation
  • Performing company searches
  • Preparing bibles
  • Registrations and filings at Companies House

It is essential that you have broad corporate / commercial experience from another leading US law firm (at least 12 months), exceptional communication and client skills and a proactive manner. Experience in IP would be an advantage, but a genuine interest in gaining experience and knowledge in IP is essential.
