Leading American law firm, with stunning offices in the City, are looking for a legal PA to assist a Head of department and another corporate partner and provide full PA / EA support. This is a very busy role, and it is essential that you have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage the changing expectations of two high profile partners. Due to the seniority of the partners, a high level of integrity and discretion is exceptionally important.

Duties to include:

·Extensive and complex diary management, often over several time zones, and troubleshooting scheduling conflicts

·Proactively anticipating the partners’ needs in advance of meetings, conferences, etc. and taking action to ensure they are properly prepared

·Typing and amending documents including correspondence, agreements, and digital dictation

·Travel management to include hotels, taxis and transfers, flights, currency, visas etc. and creating detailed travel itineraries

·Drafting, amending, and proof-reading agendas, Power Point presentations and other pitch documents

·Arranging events, lunches, dinners, seminars, and meetings including sourcing restaurants and private hire venues

·Carrying out conflict checks on new clients and collating the KYC documentation

·Proof reading documents

·Tracking expenses

·Anticipating potential issues and understanding priorities

·Assisting with confidential projects

Substantial experience as a legal PA is essential as this is a busy role, and ideally you will have supported partners at senior, managing or board level. The ability to multi-task, deal with highly confidential documents and information, and organise a busy workload is also essential. You must also be an excellent communicator as you will be dealing with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Excellent opportunity for someone looking to take a step up in terms of responsibility and autonomy. Some hybrid / flexible working options available. Stunning offices a short walk from Liverpool Street Station.

McKinlay Law endeavour to contact all successful candidates within 24 hours. However, due to the volume of applications that we receive, we are not able to respond to every candidate individually. If you have not heard from us within 24 hours your application has been unsuccessful and we have not retained your details.
