Job Title: Executive Assistant

Salary: £60,000-65,000 Negotiable

Location: Central London

One of our clients, a leading London law firm, are looking for an experienced executive assistant to support a senior partner whose remit spans strategic business development, firm-wide initiatives and legal innovation. This is not a traditional PA role; the Partner operates in a pioneering capacity, helping to shape new systems and initiatives across the firm. The successful candidate will work on varied, project-driven tasks and act as a trusted right-hand and provide executive support at a senior level.

Expected duties include:

•              Complex diary and meeting management across multiple offices and time zones.

•              Supporting strategic client and business development activity.

•              Coordinating submissions to industry directories and awards.

•              Preparing high-quality materials for client meetings, pitches and events.

•              Tracking key industry events and managing follow-up actions.

•              Assisting with firm-wide projects, including technology and AI initiatives.

•              Organising documents and information in a clear, structured way.

•              Liaising confidently with senior stakeholders across legal, finance, IT, and compliance teams.

The successful candidate will have experience supporting senior leadership within a professional services environment and will be comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced setting. You will be organised, reliable and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels across the firm.

This role will suit someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable supporting project-based work alongside core executive assistant responsibilities. You will take pride in producing high-quality documents and communications, have strong attention to detail, and be confident using Microsoft Office and other digital tools to support complex workflows. An interest in new ways of working and developing systems would be advantageous, but above all this role requires energy, strong organisational skills, and a calm, capable presence. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious executive assistant seeking a broader, more strategic remit with real exposure to leadership, innovation, and cross-firm collaboration. An excellent benefits package and potential bonus can be expected.
McKinlay Law endeavour to contact all successful candidates within 24 hours. However, due to the volume of applications that we receive, we are not able to respond to every candidate individually. If you have not heard from us within 24 hours your application has been unsuccessful and we have not retained your details.
