If you are a recent IT graduate or someone with a few months’ experience in IT support and you possess a hard-working and driven mindset then our client is looking for you. A leading city law firm are offering the opportunity for someone to be mentored and trained in all aspects of IT support across the business. The duties will be broad and will involve a mixture of basic IT troubleshooting / support, assistance on on-going projects, and day to day processes.
Previous experience in IT support will be an advantage, most preferably in a professional services environment, however they will consider someone with no experience if they have excellent technical knowledge and academics. Familiarity with most hardware will be expected, i.e. setting up PCs, IT equipment etc. and an instinct for picking up new software quickly (albeit with training) will be key. Good communications skills will also be needed as you will be a part of a cohesive IT team as well as engaging with members of staff with updates and troubleshooting IT queries.
The firm have a good track record of mentoring staff and are prepared to invest their time and resources in the right person so long as they have a positive attitude and are motivated to learn.
