A leading city law firm are offering the opportunity for someone to be mentored and trained in all aspects of IT support across the business. The duties will be broad and will involve a mixture of basic IT troubleshooting / support, assistance on on-going projects, and day to day processes.

Previous experience in IT support will be an advantage, most preferably in a professional services environment, however they will consider someone with no experience if they have excellent technical knowledge and academics. Familiarity with most hardware will be expected, i.e. setting up PCs, IT equipment etc. and an instinct for picking up new software quickly (albeit with training) will be key. Good communications skills will also be needed as you will be a part of a cohesive IT team as well as engaging with members of staff with updates and troubleshooting IT queries.

The firm have a good track record of mentoring staff and are prepared to invest their time and resources in the right person so long as they have a positive attitude and are motivated to learn. This is an outstanding chance to carve out a career in IT support within a sector that has excellent career prospects. Opportunities for hybrid working are available once you are up and running.

McKinlay Law endeavour to contact all successful candidates within 24 hours. However, due to the volume of applications that we receive, we are not able to respond to every candidate individually. If you have not heard from us within 24 hours your application has been unsuccessful and we have not retained your details.
