A well renowned city law firm require a legal cashier to join their expanding accounts department. The role will involve a broad mixture of cashiering duties. A selection of duties will include:

  • Preparing daily banking
  • Client account transactions in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts rules and dealing with queries relating to client accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Posting purchase ledger invoices
  • Recording bank payments and receipts
  • Liaising with auditors and banks
  • Billing
  • Petty cash

You must have previous experience of working in law firm finance and a positive can-do attitude. The client does need someone with at least 12 months’ experience within a legal accounts / finance environment, whether this is as a legal cashier, accounts assistant or as a finance administrator.
