Our client is seeking a confident IT trainer to handle all facets of IT training and learning within the business. It is essential that you have prior experience working within a law firm and can demonstrate a thorough understanding of a number of legal orientated applications and software.
In summary you will be assisting with the rolling out of new software and systems within the business and designing training programmes for all users. You will need to create training materials from scratch which will span from documented ‘how to’ guides to conducting group training sessions.
Other duties include:
• Providing induction training on software and equipment for new-starters.
• Updating training guides and if necessary holding refresher seminars.
• Reporting to the IT Manager any recommendations that will improve productivity.
• Assistance on ad-hoc projects.
• Helping IT support when needed.
It is imperative you have the ability to clearly and confidently communicate with staff in a user friendly manner and be an approachable go-to person for guidance on anything IT related. You need to have a sharp eye on where any issues are frequenting and be able to come up with solutions. This is a small IT Team so team work and flexibility is key.
