Job Title: Sports Litigation / Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Location: Central London

Salary: £30,000

Prestigious London law firm are looking for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their team on a permanent basis and provide case management support including deposition and trial preparation, and document collation and production. The work will be a mixture of commercial litigation with a focus on sports law. A small selection of duties are outlined below:

Duties:

  • Undertaking legal research to include preparing chronologies of events and preparing summaries
  • Liaising with Counsel
  • Assisting attorneys in the preparation of witness statements
  • Coordinating, preparing for and attending trials arbitrations and mediations
  • Preparing and filing statement of case, court bundles and other submissions and documents in adjudication, litigation, arbitration, and other proceedings
  • Summarising testimony
  • Assisting with the administration of matters including preparing client care letter, time recording and the engagement of third parties such as Counsel and expert witnesses
  • Checking and proofreading legal documents
  • Organising and maintaining client files such as pleadings correspondence and memoranda

It is essential that you have experience (at least 12 months) as a paralegal working in a litigation team and experience in sports law would be beneficial. You must also have very strong client skills as the role will include extensive liaison with clients and external stakeholders.
