Job Title: HR Manager

Location: Central London

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 negotiable (pro rata) + bonus

Hours: Part time: 3 days a week (flexible – open to negotiation on hours / days)

Leading, international boutique law firm are looking for an experienced HR manager to join their London team and act as first point of contact for all HR matters. The firm are looking for an HR generalist to work across the full employee lifecycle, and who also has experience with professional development and coaching. The successful candidate will be working closely with the senior management team to ensure HR best practice whilst supporting employee welfare and performance.

Responsibilities – this role covers the full employee lifecycle:

  • Managing employee relations
  • Employment law compliance
  • Recruitment
  • Overseeing onboarding of new employees
  • Performance reviews and appraisals
  • Delivering targeted coaching and development support to help employees enhance performance and progress their careers
  • Identifying learning and development opportunities
  • Absence tracking
  • Investigation for disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Championing employee wellbeing alongside performance goals

It is essential that you have been working as an HR manager for another law firm and have a strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. The firm also require a competent problem solver with exceptional communication skills, with the confidence and experience to undertake partner performance reviews and manage complex people matters.

The role is part-time, 3 days a week but they are flexible and open to a conversation around how the hours are structured. Fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR manager, who is looking for part-time hours in a leading London law firm.
