Job Title: Practice Manager

Salary: Circa £100,000

Location: Central London

Highly successful, high profile international law firm are looking for a practice manager to take over the administration of the practice. The role will include HR and recruitment, partnership duties, finance, facilities, practice administration and insurance. The firm are looking for a candidate with a general practice management background from another established law firm.

The successful practice manager will be responsible for the smooth running of the office. A selection of key duties:

  • Recruitment of all new staff to include the interview process, liaising with recruiters, employment contracts, reference checking and onboarding
  • Dealing with annual appraisals and annual salary review
  • Attending and take minutes of EP and partner meetings
  • Maintaining all personnel records Implementing learning and development plans
  • Assisting with the operational side of the annual budget
  • Supplier management and procurement: reviewing and negotiating third party contract terms
  • Responsible for the maintenance and smooth running of all internal IT systems, managing third party suppliers of IT and telecoms services as well as the timely updating of all IT and internal systems.
  • Managing Practising Certificate renewals and company insurance policies (cyber, PI, D&O etc.)
  • Ensuring the firm’s policies are compliant with data protection laws and confidentiality

It is essential that you have management experience from another law firm; this could be as a generalist practice manager, or if you have worked in HR management, finance management etc. and are now looking for a change, this will be considered as well.
