Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal / Conveyancing Assistant x2

Location: Central London

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 depending on experience

Leading London law firm, with a strong reputation for property work, are looking for two paralegal / conveyancing assistants to join their busy residential team and look after and provide both paralegal and administrative support. One role will be supporting two fee earners, the other will be a 1:1 role supporting just one solicitor. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will be expected to build rapport and relationships with established and new clients and act on your own initiative. 

Duties will include:

  • Assisting a small team of fee earners with their caseload with all aspects of the transaction from instruction through to post-completion  
  • Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
  • File opening
  • Companies House Registrations
  • AML checks
  • File closing including matter balances
  • Post completion tasks
  • Sending out draft contract packs

It is essential that you have gained some experience (ideally over 3 months) in residential work as either a paralegal / conveyancing assistant / property administrator. You must be proactive and work well within a team as well as autonomously.
