Job Title: White Collar Crime Paralegal

Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £42,000 depending on experience

Prestigious American law firm are looking for a white collar crime / commercial litigation paralegal to assist their leading team of partners with a wide range of high-value complex white collar crime and investigations work. The firm practice in a wide range of sectors including energy, intellectual property, technology, media, sport and financial services.

This award-winning team is growing rapidly and are very busy, and so the successful paralegal will need to hit the ground running from day one. For this reason, it is essential that you have at least 6 months’ experience as a paralegal ideally in white collar / business crime / fraud work, but they will also look at candidates with excellent experience in commercial litigation and be confident with drafting a variety of documents including instructions to Counsel, disclosure letters, witness statements etc. Other duties will include legal research, putting together bundles, assembling exhibits in electronic format, and filing documents with court.

You should be comfortable handling complex, large-scale matters efficiently and have an excellent eye for detail as well as the ability to keep up with a very fast-paced level of work and in line with deadlines.

  • A minimum of 6 months’ experience as a paralegal in either white-collar crime or commercial litigation
  • Excellent academics
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication, client, and interpersonal skills
