Exciting opportunity to work for a renowned boutique law firm, who are looking for a practice assistant to help run a busy office and provide administration support to the legal and marketing teams and also provide front of house assistance. 

Key Responsibilities:

Legal support/administration duties:

  • Providing support on legal documents and correspondence, including formatting and proof-reading
  • Assisting with new matter administration, including setting up new matters on the firm’s time-recording and document management systems
  • Creating/maintaining working/correspondence files (including the necessary copying/scanning) and court/client bundles

Marketing administration duties:

  • Assisting with adding to and maintaining the client/marketing database
  • Assisting with pitch documents/presentations and making up marketing packs
  • Assisting with marketing event planning and administration
  • Managing newsletter compilation and distribution
  • Managing bulk marketing mailings
  • General marketing project administrative support

Front-desk duties:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Liaising with IT support and other external suppliers (such as property management) when issues arise
  • Staffing Reception, including greeting external visitors and managing meeting room bookings and the presentation of meeting rooms
  • Maintaining weekly capacity record

This is an ideal opportunity for an administrator with 12 months’ experience to join a dynamic and forward thinking firm and take on some office management duties. You must be able to prioritise a busy workload and multi task effectively to meet deadlines; have strong communication skills with the confidence to communicate with senior management and external stakeholders; and be comfortable working a very fast paced environment.
