Job title: Litigation Paralegal / Career Paralegal

Salary: to £45,000

Location: Central London

Expanding, mid-size London law firm are looking for a paralegal with extensive experience in commercial litigation. They require a very experienced paralegal as you will be expected to start running and handling a caseload of highly complex matters from day one.

Responsibilities:

• Undertaking legal research
• Putting together trial bundles
• Document review
• Liaising with counsel
• Drafting: witness statements, instructions to Counsel, disclosure letters etc.
•  Proof reading and redacting documents
• Locating and instructing expert witnesses
• Managing correspondence
• Note taking: Attending client meetings and court
• Advising clients throughout all stages of the litigation process
• All pre- and post- litigation duties

It is essential that you have at least five years’ experience as a paralegal in commercial litigation and have extensive experience running your own caseload. The role would also suit someone currently studying the CILEx to become a legal executive.
